User Rating: Be the first one!

The graco double stroller is the most unique model we’ve come across in the double stroller category. It’s designed for two children, but it works entirely different than most other models on the market. The feature that makes this stroller stand out is the multiple seat positions and the option for one child to sit and the other one to stand.

You can attach car seats if needed, and the stroller can be used for much older kids than usual. Many parents love the fact that it’s not expensive at all. The seats of this stroller are positioned behind one another, and each of them has its own canopy. The large wheels make it easy to maneuver the stroller, but its size require some space.  It also offers plenty of storage space; the basket is easy to access even though this is one of the most compact double strollers you can get. Keep reading to get a more in-depth view of this product.

Features

  • Roomy seats and a standing bench

One of the most popular features of this double stroller is the multiple seat positions, and a standing option too. Even though there is no leg rest, there is a plastic footrest that does work but only for kids of a certain size. The front seat of the graco click connect has a recline, but the one in the back doesn’t. You need only one hand to set the recline, and it has an infinite number of positions.

That means that you should keep your younger child in the front seat and your older kid in the back. If you have twins, this probably won’t be the best stroller for your needs. The rear seat is easy to take off and reattached so that you can use the back side of the stroller as a standing platform for older children. The click connect system allows you to attach an infant car seat if needed.

  • Canopy

The graco click connect has two separate canopies, one behind another. They are not very big and don’t have a peekaboo window, but they don’t need it. The size of the canopy lets you keep an eye on your babies without the window. The shade works fine from some angles but doesn’t shield the babies from other angles. Also, they will feel the wind and rain in case the weather takes a turn for the worst.

The good thing about the canopies is that you can rotate them to counter the sun on the go. The shade is good enough to keep the sun from your babies eyes, but it won’t protect it completely.

  • Storage Basket

This stroller has one of the biggest storage baskets of all double strollers. It can easily fit an extra-large diaper bag. The weight limit of the basket is 10 pounds, so you can do some light grocery shopping if needed. The bin is accessible from the sides and the rear, so that makes taking things in and out much easier.

The parent tray is also included with the purchase, and it features two cup holders and a tray. That way you can always keep refreshments right in front of you. The child also has a tray, but it doesn’t hold most cups in place.

  • 5-point strap system

The 5-point strap system on the graco click connect is a little hard to work. Your children will have a tough time getting out of the straps. The shoulder strap can be adjusted if needed. The front seat has three positions, and the rear seat has only two. The buckle has lower and upper straps you have to connect before buckling. You need both hands and a firm grip to release the buckle, and the entire system can be adjusted with a dual pull system.

  • Easy to fold

The folding feature is one of the better features this stroller has to offer. You can fold it with one hand, and the auto-lock keeps it compact for storage. The stroller is self-standing so that you can store it almost anywhere.

The folding process has 3 or 4 steps, but it’s easy to complete in minutes. You’ll need to bend to the ground to secure the fold, but once you do, the stroller maintains shape no matter what. You can also do it standing up by pressing on both levers at once. The unfolding is straightforward. There are five steps you need to complete, and you need both hands for it. Pull the two main parts apart, and the stroller pops out.

What’s wrong with the product?

– The seats can’t be set side by side

Some parents may find this seat arrangement useful, but most double strollers have seats positioned side by side.

– Not very maneuverable

The wheels are small and feel flimsy, so maneuvering is a little hard.

– Small canopy

The canopy is small and won’t shield your babies from the sun completely.

Conclusion

The graco click connect is a cheap alternative to other double strollers. It does have most of the features you need to keep your kids happy, but it’s not the best double stroller you can get. The storage basket is larger than most others, there are 12 different seat positions to choose from, and you get a cup holder and tray for both the parent and the child.

One of the most popular things about this stroller is the standing platform. That works great if your children have a couple of years between them. One can nap while the other one has fun standing on the platform. So, if you need a double stroller that costs less than half of what others are charging, this one could be the best choice for you.
