Although not as durable as heavier models, the lightweight strollers undoubtedly come with some advantages. The most significant one of them they’re exceptionally easy to transport – they’re not a burden to carry around thanks to their extremely light frames.

One of such models is the Graco Breaze Click Connect Stroller, made by one of the most respected manufacturers of juvenile equipment and having features that turn it into a genuinely tempting offer. In fact, the model’s low weight doesn’t compromise its durability at all, as it looks and feels particularly sturdy and stable.

Along with its lightweight design, this buggy also features a decently sized canopy, foldable design, roomy seat, viewing window, 5-point harness, footrest which is entirely adjustable, cup holders, large storage basket, hard rubber wheels (all-wheel suspension), as well as the parking brake. Graco equipped this model with everything they could think of and decided to sell it at a genuinely reasonable price – isn’t that the recipe for a bestseller?

If all of these features sound tempting to you, keep on reading. We’ll be taking a closer look at each one of them while trying to determine the advantages and flaws of this baby stroller.

Features

  • Fold

Graco’s designers decided to completely redesign this model and equip it with a one-hand fold that is so highly sought by parents. To fold this buggy, one doesn’t even have to use his foot – all it takes is pushing the big red button and bringing the handlebar down. The stroller will slowly close itself and engage the automatic lock – pretty neat, wouldn’t you say?

At 17.5 pounds, this is a genuinely lightweight model, although it’s not the lightest one out there. It comes with a special carrying strap for easier transportation, and it accepts all of Graco’s Click Connect infant car seats. To install one of those seats into this stroller, you won’t need any additional adapters.

  • Seat

The seat of the Graco Breaze Click Connect Stroller measures 26″ from its back to the canopy and is 14″ wide. Although its back is somewhat short when compared to the other models in the same category, it has great headroom beneath the canopy. An important thing here is the fact that the seat’s back is well padded and provides the child with good support during the ride.

Moreover, the seat features a one-hand lever recline, allowing the parent to put it into an almost entirely flat position without much effort. This makes the buggy suitable for newborns, letting parents use it for the diaper changing. It accommodates kids that are no heavier than 50 pounds, and, as we already mentioned, can be turned into a travel system by purchasing and installing an infant car seat.

  • Wheels

Graco Breaze rolls on four wheels made out of hard rubber, with the front ones measuring 6 inches in diameter and the rear ones measuring 7 inches. And one of the best things about them is that they can be locked in place – all it takes is stepping on the pedals located behind them.

Even though the all-wheel suspension provides a smooth ride, this stroller wasn’t really designed for use on rough terrains. Try to avoid things like grass, gravel, and mulch, and use this buggy only on flat surfaces.

  • Canopy

The canopy of this stroller is of a decent size, featuring a sizeable pop-out sun visor whose purpose is to protect your little one from the dangerous summer sun. In its back, it has a large peek-a-boo window made out of mesh that provides the necessary air circulation on the hot summer days.

However, the closure that’s attached to this window doesn’t have magnets or Velcro that would keep it closed. This means that the closure will open up with every wind gust – it’s a shame that Graco didn’t provide a solution for such a simple problem.

  • Storage Basket

The storage basket of this pushchair is quite sizeable, especially when we consider its overall low weight. It can be easily accessed from the back of the stroller and is capable of accommodating large diaper bags. However, accessing it is not so easy once the seat is fully reclined, which is a common problem on most strollers of this type.

  • Handlebar & Footrest

The ergonomically-positioned handlebar of this buggy is situated at the height of 39″, which is a standard for most products of this type. It is not adjustable but has a height that should be suitable for most parents. Furthermore, it has a foam covering and doesn’t cause blisters when held for too long.

Fortunately, the model’s footrest is adjustable and can go up or down depending on your kid’s needs. Its only downside is that it’s located quite close to the seat which can be quite uncomfortable for older children.

What’s wrong with the product?

– Problematic footrest

Although entirely adjustable, the model’s footrest comes with a significant downside. It is positioned too close to the unit’s seat which means that older toddlers won’t be able to use it comfortably.

– Window closure can’t be secured

This isn’t such a big deal, but we still have to mention it as a flaw. The closure of the peek-a-boo window has nothing that would secure it in place. A Velcro strip or a magnetic closure would quickly solve this problem.

Conclusion

The Graco Breaze Click Connect isn’t just among the most lightweight strollers around, but also a model that’s packed with a number of convenient features. Easy to fold and transport, comfortable, as well as travel-system ready, this stroller certainly deserves its best-selling status.

The minor flaws we’ve mentioned shouldn’t stop you from considering it for purchase, as it is among the best products of this type Graco has ever manufactured.
